Alana De La Garza has earned a reputation on the television. The parents of De La Garza were from Ireland and Mexico. The actress was born in Ohio's Columbus on the 26th of December in 1976. Soon after she left Ohio to move to Texas and pursued her master's degree in physical therapy at University of Texas. De La Garza stayed in Texas only a short time prior to moving in Orlando Florida. She took part in a wide range of roles in acting, such as local independent movies and commercials. Even though she had small parts, De La Garza soon realized that she was drawn to performing. Then she moved to New York in 2001 and landed her very first job in acting on the soap as Rosa Santos on All My Children which is a soap for the daytime. She had minor roles on JAG the Las Vegas and Two and a Half Men at the beginning of 2000. The first time she had a major role in a series was the short-lived television drama The Mountain. De La Garza played Maria Serrano, alongside a number of top TV actors such as Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pileggi and Mitch Pilegge. Her best-known role was in Law & Order, where she played A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. She was on for 85 of the episodes. Later, she starred in her role in the Law & Order: LA film, a short-lived sequel. De La Garza has been recognized several times for her role in the show, including Best Supporting Actress in Television from the Imagen Foundation Awards. In 2008, she was awarded the Impact Award at National Hispanic Media Coalition's Outstanding Performance Award in a Dramatic Television Series. De La Garza got a recurring part in CSI Miami a few moments after. She played Marisol Deko in the role of Horatio Caine's wife. In the role of the character Dr. Lena Solis, she was most recently seen in NBC's dark comedy Do No Harm. Alyssa Milano was cancelled by NBC following only two episodes. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. Milano is Italian as well as having a 10-year-old younger brother called Cory. Her family was the strictest and most religious family. Milano's career began at age seven, after her child's sitter invited her to a talent show. The audition she took part in was one of over 1000 hopefuls. She was selected as one of just four girls. Milano has appeared on TV in commercials, and off Broadway productions like a musical adaptation from Jane Eyre.
