Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn (born in America) is an American actor. Her most well-known character was in the role of Skyler on the AMC drama Breaking Bad. She won the Primetime Emmy Awards in 2013 and 2014 for Outstanding Supporting Performance in Drama Series for 2013 and 2014. Other roles she has played comprise Jean Ward in The Practice and Martha Bullock from Deadwood. Anna Gunn began acting as an elementary school student as a child in Sante Fe New Mexico. Her family then moved to Ohio, where she continued her love of the stage. She went to Northwestern University to study theatre as well as the British American Drama Academy. Anna worked in the theatre in the Chicago region for a couple of years before trying her hand at television as well as film roles. Anna was cast as Arden in the TV show Down the Shore in the 29-episode show Down the Shore.
