Anna Gunn
Anna Gunn (born in America) is an American actor. Her most well-known character was in the role of Skyler on the AMC drama Breaking Bad. She won the Primetime Emmy Awards in 2013 and 2014 for Outstanding Supporting Performance in Drama Series for 2013 and 2014. Other roles she has played comprise Jean Ward in The Practice and Martha Bullock from Deadwood. Anna Gunn began acting as an elementary school student as a child in Sante Fe New Mexico. Her family then moved to Ohio, where she continued her love of the stage. She went to Northwestern University to study theatre as well as the British American Drama Academy. Anna worked in the theatre in the Chicago region for a couple of years before trying her hand at television as well as film roles. Anna was cast as Arden in the TV show Down the Shore in the 29-episode show Down the Shore. Anna continued to be in film and television shows like Seinfeld, NYPD Blue and other shows until the end of the 1990's. Then she was placed in The Practice as Jean Ward. She was cast as Martha Bullock in Deadwood for two seasons throughout the decade of 2000. Skyler played Martha Bullock in Breaking Bad (2008). Sully as well as Deadwood was another film she was a part of. Gunn appeared in David Schwimmer's Sex With Strangers, a production directed by David Schwimmer. In 2022 the actress also was a part of a four-part audio-play podcast titled"Numbered Days.. Breaking Bad often revolves around Walter White and Skyler's relationship. Its strain and ultimate demise mirror the last few years that were the life of Walter White.
